瑞士商瑞士信貸銀行股份有限公司台北分行於2008年10月已獲准營業，並於本年3月正式投入營運。該分行的業務涵蓋完整的金融服務，包括外匯業務、證券與相關金融衍生性商品，以及提供金融財務機構及企業客戶之融資服務。除了銀行分行業務外，瑞信亦在台灣提供廣泛的證券服務，如證券研究、證券買賣、證券交易、以及企業諮詢服務等。 Taipei, April 17, 2009 Credit Suisse recently celebrated the grand opening of its Taipei Bank Branch. The establishment of the new bank branch confirms Credit Suisse’s long-term commitment to its clients in Taiwan. Kai Nargolwala, Credit Suisse’s CEO Asia Pacific, and Chih-Wei Wu, CEO Taiwan, welcomed Fai-Nan Perng, Governor of the Central Bank, A-Ting Chou, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank and Fred S.C. Chen, Chairperson of the Central Deposit Insurance Corp. in Taiwan, as well as clients and business partners to an official reception in Taipei yesterday.
Credit Suisse Taipei Bank Branch received approvals to commence business in October 2008 and started its trading operations in March 2009. The Branch will undertake a full range of banking activities, including FX, securities and all associated derivatives as well as financings with financial institutions and corporate clients. In addition to the Bank Branch business, Credit Suisse provides in Taiwan a comprehensive range of brokerage services, such as equity research, sales, sales trading and execution, as well as corporate advisory services.
