每年，都有所謂的新流行色及流行風格宣告，成功設計師是如何看待這些設計預言及流行現象?他們又如何從解讀今日文化現象中，得到未來世界的線索？面對全球化市場，設計師又該如何抓住設計的脈動? 面對未來，全球頂尖設計師如何與趨勢共舞?關於趨勢，每位設計師皆有自己獨到的見解及觀察方式。2006國家設計獎設計論壇Envisioning the Trend，將藉由全球頂尖設計師的觀點，帶您掌握未來趨勢。

Do designers create the trend? Or the trend leads designers?
The so-called new popular colour prediction and design trend manifesto emerges every year. However, some trends like tide come and go every year. How do the successful designers discover and respond to the design prediction and trendy phenomenon. How do they scan and analyze today’s life style and culture for the signs of tomorrow?
As designers, how do we spot the trend and fit into the ever changing taste of the global market? How shall designers react and respond to the future trend? About the trend, every designer has his/her opinion. 2006 Taiwan International Design Forum draws together the most creative mind of the global in Taipei for a series of in-depth design presentations and discussions. ‘Envisioning the Trend’ invites top designers of the world to share with the audience their personal vision and view points about the future trend.
