中原大學室內設計系成立於1985年，已有34年歷史，接續成立碩士班及碩士在職專班。30多年來，在全體師生共同的努力下，在「健康永續」、「照明色彩」、「文創休旅」及「樂齡樂活」各項領域中皆有豐碩的成果。室設系成立至今，已畢業31屆學生，約2000人，更有許多系友成立優質的專業設計公司，在社會上廣受佳評。
2019年適逢中原大學64週年校慶，特別策劃「中原室設優秀系友作品展」，精選37件室設系系友們在設計獎中的得獎作品，設計內容含：住宅、餐飲空間、辦公空間、展示空間等，期望凝聚室設系友及在校生的認同感，提供系友展出及交流舞台、讓在校學子獲得創意及設計靈感。

CYCU Interior Design Alumni Excellent Works Exhibition

Since CYCU’s Department of Interior Design was formed in 1985, it has graduated about 2000 outstanding students in 31 graduating classes in the past 3 decades. Throughout the years, the Department has introduced the master’s program and in-service master’s program. Teachers’ performance and students’ academic achievements are evident in health, lighting colors, cultural and creative tourism as well as lifelong learning. In addition, numerous alumni have made a name for themselves in the industry with their own design companies.
In light of CYCU’s 64th anniversary, the Art Center curated the CYCU Interior Design Alumni Excellent Works Exhibition, featuring 37 award-winning interior working or living environments of residents, restaurants, offices and exhibition spaces. The exhibition aims to bring interior design alumni and students together to inspire, motivate and encourage design creativity.
